Where do i park my car in miami, if driving , and getting on cruise ship. Royal Carribean.?

Leaving in one week on the royal carribean cruise to Bahamas, key west. Going to drive down next weekend from STL to MIAMI. Wanted to save some money and flying was to expensive. Where do you park the car for a 5 day away?

We are Excited as we have never been on a cruise. (husband and i)

Stay in a hotel down there. Many of the hotels allow you to. I like Hampton Inn. They either charge $30 to leave the car there for a week or it is free but it's $20 for the shuttle to drive you.



Things to do on your cruise:

Tons of stuff. It depends on your interests and ship you are on. Some of the newer ones have ice skating rinks and climbing walls.



You can go to the casino, the ships art auctions, the spa, the gym on board, numerous pools and numerous bars. They have events going on during the day from tours of the bridge and/or cooks area, culinary events, bingo, murder mystery events, the list goes on and on. For me personally, I can always be found at the pool farthest to the rear. Then I leave in time to sample some of the food places. I have lunch at the pool but then usually the ships have a sushi bar that I get an appetizer at, then I take a drink down to the room while getting dressed for dinner.

You can park at the Port of Miami. It'll cost you though. About 12-20 dollars per day. They have security so it's OK. Check out the website below for cheaper parking. Arrive early,about 11:30. You may have to wait a bit but the lines can get long to board.
