Flowery Branch is 45 miles north east from downtown Atlanta. It's a small, quiet suburban/country town. But it's not really in the country any more. The population is just beginning to reach into FB. Still, not much happens in Flowery Branch.
You'll find the people of North Georgia friendly and they really do exhibit that fine Southern Hospitality and charm, it's not just in the books and on TV. It's real.
Atlanta has a very vibrant music scene. Hip Hop is King, Modern Rock is strong as is Country. But all genres are well represented in the nightlife in and around Atlanta. If you love live music, you'll appreciate Atlanta's nightlife.
FB is not far from Lake Lanier if you like watersports. It's not far from Road Atlanta and Atlanta Dragway if your into motor racing. Of course Atlanta Motor Speedway is just south of town and hosts two NASCAR events every year.
You're not far from th largest shopping mall in Georgia. The Mall of Georgia is just down the road. Athens isn't that far if you want to become a Bulldog fan.
I think you'll find the experiences and opportunities in Atlanta similar to the city experiences in Miami.How far is flowery branch from atlanta also.....?
That's cool I just moved to flowey branch last week from living in SW florida me ENTIRE life. Big change, went to Atl. area yesterday and wow, puts Tampa and Miami to shame...

How far is flowery branch from atlanta also.....?You'll be going toward ATL if you live in FB the town is still growing but it's taking a little bit...the ppl have been nice and music scene isn't so huge in FB but if you go toward ATL it would be rather appreciated!
