I'm heading down to Miami for the first time in years with my girlfriend (we are both 23 years old), so I'm looking for recommendations for things to do and see while we're there. We've got some ideas, but of course the more options the merrier. We're staying a few blocks from the Bayside Marketplace, which I'm relatively familiar with. If anybody has any places or attractions worth checking out I'd appreciate it - anything from clubs and restaurants, to mini-golf and arcades - we have a vehicle so anything within range, I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thank you very much in advance...Things to do and places to eat in the Miami area?
Well if your not coming when theres a hurricane then I say hit south beach at night and walk along the beach with your gf. If your in a romantic mood that is. You didnt state where you were from so im assuming you have no beaches. Things to do and places to eat in the Miami area?
Yeah seriously, watch out for that hurricane!
Okay so here's MY list of things to do!
Clubs: it all really depends on what kind of music you're into...
If you're into the whole "Indie/American Apparel" scene go to THE WHITE ROOM on Sat or Monday nights. ADD: 1306 NE miami drive (close to bayside)
if youre into dance music and songs you hear on the radio go to HEATHROW LOUNGE. This a brand new club but i'm telling you its a blast. I've never been on a friday night but i hear its pretty rowdy...saturday nights are rowdy for sure. ADDress is: 7th and Washington
If you're up for the ultimate miami dance experince go to Mansion. Probably one of the most popular clubs. Prepare to wait in line lol adn if there is a special event prepare to pay some $$ but only to see some of the best DJ's.
Okay so restaurants:
If you decide to go to the beach one day go eat at BIG PINK. My all time favorite restaurant. They have like all american food plus everything else. I'm not sure of the exact address of it but its a pretty popular restaurant just ask someone where it is.
If you wanna go out at night for a fun experience go to OPA which is on 1st street and washington I think or soemthing like that. This is a fun place people dance on the table...drink alot of sangria. You get the gist.
As for other stuff to do during the day you could go to :
Jungle Island (if you like zoo's/ect.)
Jet Ski rentals
go to Lincoln road for shopping
if you're up for a drive go to rapids water park up north
yeah so i hope this helped!
very long sorryThings to do and places to eat in the Miami area?
Give Bayside Marketplace a chance. Tourists (and locals!) love that place...Things to do and places to eat in the Miami area?
Walk on the beach and eat at one of the places along the beach. The News Cafe is pretty good lol.
