Cheapest cities with things to do in florida?

Me and my boyfriend are planning on taking a trip over winter break in january to somplace warmer, and with a beach. we want to go to florida but our budget is under $500 a person. We've been trying so many different cities like Orlando, Miami, Clearwater and others. We've been to panama city beach before and we drove so we could maybe drive that long again. does anybody have any suggestions on what cities would be good to visit, if not in florida even someplace else?

We live in south eastern wisconsin.

Miami is great and its nice! i just moved here to South Beach, its not too expensive and there are A TON of things to do here, everyone comes here! check out some sites, i came across a good one only thing is its new and gonna take time to get going but its not like those other boring sites, it has chat room, forums, place for meeting people, and gives you info on everything in south beach, entertainment, activies, etc. etc. anyway hope that helps and hope u choose South Beach its great! of course i think so i moved here lol. oh and that site is called South Beach 305 at www.southbeach305.webs.comCheapest cities with things to do in florida?
All I can suggest, if you insist on going all the way to South Florida, is to check out Hollywood Beach. It is definitely the most affordable place around here. With lots of affordable, family-owned hotels along the beach, you can see most of them here: http://tiny.cc/4i0sl

This is easy! The cheapest beach town in all of Florida is Daytona Beach. There are a ton of things to do and you can find hotels ON THE BEACH starting at $50 a night. winter is the worst time for cheap in florida. everything starts to go up from october and inch toward rip off by december.
