What are some American things to do in London?

I'm gonna be away from home (Los Angeles) for three weeks during Xmas time for business. The problem is I get homesick. And with England being very European, small, cloudy, gray, dirty and overpopulated, I am bound to get homesick FAST. Can you guys tell me what American things are available in London so I don't get homesick? Do you guys have McDonalds? Are there American bars? Are there American tv shows? Do you guys have CSI Miami? What are some American things to do in London?
"small, cloudy, gray, dirty and overpopulated".

Only yesterday I was defending Americans against the stereotype they seem to have in England. I wish I hadn't bothered now. Please stay in the US, we don't want you here. What are some American things to do in London?
Unfortunately we have MacDonalds, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken shops in England but I thought the idea of overseas travel was to have some new experiences. England is obviously a small country. It isn't always cloudy and grey. In fact we have rather a dry climate in London and South East England, and our large cities are no more dirty than yours. If you yearn for open spaces, London has more parks than any other large city in the world, and very close to London you can find superb open countryside in the Chiltern Hills and Surrey Hills
i think you've got a few peoples backs up by the naivety of your comments, which may or may not be your fault

but it's a bit silly, and also unfair to label somewhere 'small, cloudy, gray, dirty and overpopulated' and then ask the type of questions you asked after it

however the short answer to your questions is yes we have:

McDonalds - they are in basicly every sindle country in the whole entire world

American Bars - plenty in london, look online

American TV Shows - again, these are imported everywhere in the world, so yes

CSI Miami - as above plus all the other CSI's, NCIS etc etc.

as others have put before me though, i would seriously consider checking your attitude, and try some traditional english stuff while you are here...travel broadens the mind. What are some American things to do in London?
As another comment said, don't go to another country if you don't want a different experience. You're honestly bothered about being homesick after being gone for three weeks?! If this question is valid and you're really travelling for business, you're too ignorant for the job you already have.

London is great, and you should have a great time. There's too many things to do to worry about what American exports are over there. I am an American who has visited London a couple times. I remember being disappointed over the prevalence of American fast food places I found. It's such an embarrassing export and not exactly our best cultural contribution.

Either grow up or get someone else to go in your place, someone who will actually appreciate the experience and better represent the U.S.
Yeah we have CSI.

"Small, Cloudy, Gray, Dirty and Overpopulated" sounds like your describing New York.

If you want American things because you think London is a dump compared to your over populated, over polluted Los Angeles, then stay home because we don't want any foreigners who offend our land that has such rich histroy and heritage that many Americans WISH they had. What are some American things to do in London?
Would you mind telling me the address that you will be staying at and the date please? I would very much like to beat your stereotypical American views of things they have NO idea about out of you.

Trust me, you'll thank me in the future.
America is x10 of London, you can do any thing that you do in America. try to stick around Westminster, the same junk food chains are available across U.K too. Welcome
gray, dirty and overpopulated with a vile Mc Donalds on every corner.

Sounds like anyone from Los Angeles is unlikely to be homesick there
Please like anyone with your IQ would be involved in any sort of business.
Troll.
