Things to do with Children in Miami?

I will be traveling to Miami with my wife and one year old son at the end of January. I was there often as a child and loved going the Zoo, Aquarium, Parrot Jungle, I think there was something like a Monkey Jungle also. Does anyone have any ideas about great things to do for kids in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale?Things to do with Children in Miami?
Try Seaworld, the Everglades, Wild animal park. The museum of Swimming and Diving, where Olympic hopefuls work out, Its open to the Public, swim, dive.Things to do with Children in Miami?
I have an 18 month old, so we are on the same wavelength. Kids love the beach, so a day at the beach is cool. My son loved the Children's museum that's near the beach, it's across the street from the new Parrot Jungle.

My son likes going to Fairchild Tropical Gardens and running around there.
take them to Gameworks, its a game center.. they could probably spend hours in thereThings to do with Children in Miami?
OK, just did that also.

Everglades airboat tour

Sawgrass Outlet Mall in Sunrise, FL (20 minutes away) its hugh

Biltmore in Coral Gables, old historic hotel and you can go in just for a burger and use the pool they won't notice or care.

They have the largest swimming pool in te Continental US

Also, Miracle Mile in Coral Gables for shopping and eating

Try GAMEWORKS for the kids

In Fort Lauderdale nearby (only 20 minutes), try the Jungle Queen Paddle Boat for dinner or afternoon to see Millionaires Row.

Snorkeling at John Pennecamp in Key Largo.

IMAX Theater in Fort Lauderdale, afterwards stroll down Los Olas Bld, its a preety street of shops and lights, especially at night. Skip Kilwins for ice cream (even though it is good) and go to the old fashion ice cream place called "Jackson's" in Fort Lauderdale on US 1

Vizcaya Muesum in Miami

Hope that helps

you should also try venetian pools. it's in coral gables and they are natrual pools in the rock. it's realllly pretty and there are caves and things and it's alot of fun for little kids.
Take them to the beach (if it isn't too cold) or just take them to the places you listed above. I bet the will have a blast anywhere.
The Miami Seaquarium is a must see for kids
