You can get to Everglades by driving on route 41North (also known as Tamiami Trail).

Oasis Visitors Center is about half way between Miami and Naples, approx 1 hour drive from S Beach. The most spectacular site - alligators in their natural habitat. Usually much more scenic in late fall/early winter.

I'm not sure about south beach but they have the Everglades somewhere in Miami... they were a lot of fun... or u can explore!!
