Is this a good idea or should i just let it go before its too late?

okay so i know this is a weird situation but im 18 and dating a 43 year old man. well were not officially dating (Yet!) but were sorta there. we've fallen for each other and yeah. but anyway im going to miami for college in sept. (but moving in july). so what should i do, should i just stop things from progressing or continue and try and maintain a long distance relationship?

i've never felt about a guy like this before and i'm in such a state of bliss. but what if i go to miami and things dont work out (cuz of distance and hes a father of 3 - and no hes not married). and what if i see other hot guys in Miami.

help!?!?!Is this a good idea or should i just let it go before its too late?
Theres no way in hell. He is just too old for you sweetie, you guys are most likely on very different levels and places in your lives. Let it go.Is this a good idea or should i just let it go before its too late?
Agreed. The age thing notwithstanding, think of it this way - he's 43 and looking for a partner and you're worried about whether you see a hot guy. Really? Do HIM and yourself a favor, let him off the hook and enjoy your twenties. Is this a good idea or should i just let it go before its too late?
Time to level with yourself. Are you into him? You will see other hot guys, not just in Miami, but everywhere else too. College is a growing experience and you will change a lot before you graduate. You need to decide if the current relationship is worth the sacrifice of long distance loving. After you have thought about it a little bit, ask him if he is interested in talking over options. I am engaged to an 18 yr old and I am 42. We live together and both of us have made sacrifices because of the differences we share. We would talk this over and try to save our relationship. Just my two cents.

Good luck
