Going to Miami alone in January. Things to do?

I'm going to Miami (probably alone) in early January for my Bday. What is there to do? I just want to get out of the cold. I know that I'd like to go on the beach. Is the weather good enough for that in January? Also, what are some good daytime activities? I've been there once but didn't do much. Thanks!Going to Miami alone in January. Things to do?
well fort lauderdale has the best beach, not nude thou, and is much less congested and prices are much cheaper than south beach and the cheapest shuttle service here is www.cheaposhuttle.com if you need a ride. there are a lot of cheap hotels and a penthouse on the beach to rent cheap with awesome view %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; http://www.vacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/29984.html south beach is ok to visit but to stay would be expensive and not much parking available.Going to Miami alone in January.
