Any suggestions as to what things i can do in miami florida to pass some time...?

i am taking my 2 girls to miami with me at the end of may. my flight leaves early in the morning and gets in rather early as well. any suggestions to what i can do to pass time before i check in the hotel? i am sure there is plenty to do, but with small girls, ill have luggage and crap... i hate that it wasn't any later times available. But any ideas would greatly be appreciated...Any suggestions as to what things i can do in miami florida to pass some time...?
If your hotel's guaranteed check-in time is not until 3 or 4 pm, you can always go to the hotel and try to check in early. If a room is clean and ready, they will let you check in early without an additional fee. If a room is not ready, they will store your luggage for you at the bellstand and allow you to use their facilities while you wait for your room to be cleaned. So, you can go to the pool or the beach while you wait. This will be your best bet because I can imagine toting your luggage around with you all over the place will be really tideous, especially since you have children with you.Any suggestions as to what things i can do in miami florida to pass some time...?
me and my girlfriend went to south beach, had all our luggage and crap...it sucked , so we went inside this little like book store and asked the woman if their were any lockers around to use, she said no , but she said we could put our stuff in the back area of the store and shed watch it for us. I know it sounded really iffy but we were really desperate and wanted to have a good time , so we said the hell with it and did that. Got back there after a day of fun and our stuff was still there nice and safe :) maybe you should try to find that lady.Any suggestions as to what things i can do in miami florida to pass some time...?
