In Miami, there's two nice beaches. Key Biscayne (400 Crandon Blvd) is really nice and then Miami Beach (South side). If you like driving, south of Miami driving straight through about 3 hrs each way driving to Key West along hwy 1 (but there are places, beaches, you can stop by to enjoy). Also keep in mind: one man's fun is another man's not so fun.
Hotels? A frugal person like me settle for free hot breakfast like LaQuinta or Best Western. If you have the money, any well kept hotel along or near the beaches would be nice.What fun things to do in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale?
Concerning hotels, check with a travel agent, some of the areas are not where a tourist would want to be. Have tons of fun and eat lots of good food. I so envy you! My comment in your other question, most staff in hotels and restaurants had Spanish as their primary language, I was there probably 20 years ago.What fun things to do in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale?
In Miami you can go visit the Monkey Jungle, Deering Estate, Tropical Park and many more. In Ft. Lauderdale you can go Tropical Sailing, Sawgrass Recreation Park and many more. Just explore the place when you were there.What fun things to do in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale?
