Well you always have Adventura Mall, in Adventura, its not very far at all.
Bayside Market in downtown is also a nice place to shop, with a few restaurants inside, a Hard Rock, and shows at night.
Lincoln Ave is a great place to shop during the day, and at night is a great place to eat, and there are always a ton of street performers there, and the restaurants are all amazing. you wont find a bad place in there.Top 10 things to do in Miami in a couple of days?

In no particular order:
1. Lunch in Coconut Grove.
2. Dinner or lunch at Joe's Stone Crab, at the tip of world-renowned South Beach.
3. A day cruise out of the Port of Miami or elsewhere.
4. A drive toward Key West, where you turn around anytime you want.
5. The designer section. Eastern boundary: Biscayne Boulevard; Western: probably Miami Avenue, or thereabouts; from 36th Street or so, north 10 blocks or so.
6. Little Havana
7. South Beach, including the beaches and Lincoln Road. The true historic South Beach is anything below the canal (along Dade Boulevard). Everything above that was not South Beach.
8. The drive starting on Main Highway in downtown Coconut Grove, southwesterly out of town on Ingram Highway and then wend yourself down Old Cutler Road to 144st or so.
9. Fairchild Gardens.
10. The Miami River (a surprise entry; you can wrap it around with seeing where Elian Gonzales lived with relatives).
Have a good time.
