I have tons of ideas but,I don't want to burn them.
C'mon guys, you can hang out in Little Havana all day buying fifty cent cafecitos %26amp; dollar pastelitos at the local "cafeterias," coconut ice cream (coco frios) at ice cream stands, shopping in Cuban "botanicas," souvenir %26amp; other stores you won't find anywhere else.
While LH spreads out pretty far in all directions, the best area for pedestrian tourists is SW 8th St. between 4th Ave. west to 27th Ave. Nor do you have to speak Spanish. While everyone around you will be, pretty much everyone speaks enough English that you'll be able to ask for anything you want. What are some fun things to do in Miami that do not require money?
Just walk around south beach....lots of entertaining things to look at!
Hang out and people watch at Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, Coral Gables or Coconut Grove. You can walk, bike, rollerblade or skateboard. Play dominoes in Little Havana. On the 1st Friday of the month you can go to Gallery Night in Coral Gables to enjoy some art, drink free wine, and listen to music. (Don't buy anything or you'll blow your budget.) On the 2nd Saturday of the month you can do the same in the Miami Design District with a younger crowd and in my opinion the people watching is a lot better. Also on the last Friday of every month you can go to Little Havana for Viernes Culturales which has Latin art, music and food. You can also go to UM for free concerts and movies on the lawn. I suggest getting a copying of Miami NewTimes (free weekly) or visiting their website for a list of events. Many are cheap or free.
Nothing much with out money. Unless you just want to chill. You can just walk around Ocean Drive or Lincoln road, its a chill place to be lots of people 24/7 it does not cost anything to chill. But that's it, everything else at least at night is going to cost some money clubs etc... During the day you can do anything you want just like any large city.
Well theres a place called bayside, where you can go chill out.Its an outdoor mall right in front of an ocean. But,the parking costs money.Oh and for like 15 bucks you can ride a boat that goes through famous' peoples houses. Its like an hour and a half.
