My parents and I are going this week for 8 days. So far our agenda consists of taking a boat ride through the Everglades, spending a night or two in Key West, hanging out at Miami and South Beach and touring University of Miami (the main reason we're going). After the airboat ride, check out Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise. It's huge and has a tropical atmosphere.
On your way to Key West, take a ride on the glass-bottom boat in Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo.
