Fun things to do in Miami FL?

My husband, our child and husbands family are going on a Cruise in January... We will be staying in Miami for a few nights before hand. what are some awesome things we can do there? I looked up the Zoo and the Seaquarium... but what OTHER fun things can we do? Are there anything around where we can swim with the dolphins?Fun things to do in Miami FL?
Okay, well you can swim with dolphins in the Seaquarium - look the site up again. It mentions prices and reservations.



If you're looking for something else, parasailing and jetskiing are popular. You can always look into tours - a good one to check out is Star Island - area where Shaq and Hogan live? It's a gated community so it's the only way you can actually see the houses without actually living there.



Also another cool tour is the airboat tour of the Everglades - a notorious national park and filled with interesting animals - you really are guaranteed to see a gator.



Watch out for South Beach - depending on the age of your child, it's the nicest beach, I won't lie. However it's also the only legal topless beach on the east coast - and people will actually be topless. If you'd rather a family-oriented beach, check out Key Biscayne - their Crandon Park is nice enough. Has palm trees on the beach and it makes things interesting/fun to check out. You can go to Bayside.. it's an outdoor mall right next to the port. Very nice..or you can go to the beach.
