Things to do in Miami in December?

I'm going to Miami in December (10th-14th). I was just wondering what the weather is like and what are the best things to do in Miami for a 20 year old. Baring in mind I'm from London England and we think 25 潞C (77 潞F) is warm! Also I've never been to the USA so I want to see a basketball game or something sport related!
