Things to do during long layover in Miami?

I have about a 14 hour lay over at the Miami Airport next Sunday(08/31/08). I've read a lot of horrible reviews about Miami airport so not quiet sure what my options are?



I'm coming in from Jamaica and continuing to Canada.



Am I even allowed to leave the airport(customs) since I'm coming in from Jamaica?

I don't know about being allowed to leave the airport, but even if you could I wouldn't bother with it. By the time you make it through customs with all your bags, you'll have to wait forever to get a cab, and then drag your stuff all over the city.

Well... if some guy starts to look at you funny in the Mens Room... start a conversation with this: Ask him not to blow your cover but, your a CIA Hand-to-hand combat instructor, and you want to know if he knows any good spots around the airport area you can shoot a .45 cal pistol ???
