Why is Miami such a boring place!?

ok i just wanna know a little thing, why is miami so boring to the point that somebody would wanna shoot themself in the brain, their is virtually nothing to do i have been living here for the past 9 years and i have yet to find anything enjoyable to the least, i would much rather go back to new york city were it is really fun and go to places like times square.



but miami is seriously just an empty desert with houses, barley anyone here even speaks english.

so can someone answer my question as to why miami florida is so boring compared to places like new york city times square, broadway,etc.Why is Miami such a boring place!?
okay a bit dramatic, dont shoot anyone over being bored K. First of all what is so exciting in times square, first time i saw it was okay but 100 times later it is just times square. NYC is awesome to me because i love classical music and the kind of talent that goes there certainly does not come here to miami. Basically different strokes for different folks. i know people that come here from Italy and spend thousands of dollars to enjoy south beach. If you are attractive and have money sobe is one of the most desirable cities in the world. i know someone that lives in a high rise across from fisher island and they wake up to walk on this beautiful beach have breakfast at a cafe, go to the gym, tan, shop, party at night, have a great dinner at prime 112. see if you live in kendall then you are missing all that miami has to offer. riding my bike down old culter is nothing short is breath taking amazing, fairchild tropical gardens is so unique as is matheson hammock park. or the charm of coral gables (biltmore and the near by churches architectural marvels of mediterranean style) you really need to go out and explore, have you ever gone to shark valley? that place is great! very unique you wont find that in NYC. i love ever city i go to because i am an explorer and i am positive. OH have you seen the new south pointe park? have a nice picnic in the afternoon take a book. or then again catch a bus and stand in times square if that is really your thing, personally i am not a big fan of those mobs of tourists in times square, i think that is the only part of NYC that i am not so fond of. try battery park area or madison avenue up by maison of chocolatesWhy is Miami such a boring place!?

oh idk - Miami is not boring at all... i live here and was born here and we have many attractions. like Disney, Universal, AHHHEM... THE BEACH! i wonder do u have beaches are gorg as these here in Miami in NY? didn't think so.

Why is Miami such a boring place!?
Yeah, I've lived in Miami all my life and it is very boring. Well you just don't get tired of places like New York, there is nothing boring about it, there is so much to do. But in Miami there is absolutely nothing in the suburbs... you can go into the city for something to do but there are mostly just museums. I agree. Miami sucks.
I would have to agree that Miami is a boring place. I've lived here 30 years and I consider it a boring city. Other than going to clubs and going to the beach, there really isn't much else to do here. Whereas other cities in the U.S. have a lot more events and activities to take part in.



And it isn't an "empty desert" with houses. It's more like an "empty swamp" with houses.



But the people in Miami are mostly very attractive. :)

I wish I lived in a better city than Miami, but I would be willing to stay here just to check out the attractive people. :)Why is Miami such a boring place!?
How many time can you go to times square and get bored of it? Not to many, Miami has all the basic essentials as a city plus a beach and nice weather, I would find it much better then NYC. Also the clubs are way better as the people are also nicer. However crime is bad.

There isn't a moment of my life that I get bored living here in Miami. Yet when I went to New York over winter after seeing time square 2 times I found myself sitting in my ugly hotel room (which was a 5 star) bored out of my mind.
Its boring everywhere...things just get played out but you just have to find stuff to do...but anywhere you go its bascially the same - clubs, bar, dinner, movies, etc etc.....start reading local magazines to see upcoming events...you'll be suprised at what you find....try reading six degrees miami.....I live in Michigan and I always read that Mag but the detroit issue...its free and packed with events that will take place. Hope that helps.
If Miami is so horrible, why are you here? Move back to NYC and live the life you want. If I were as miserable as you claim to be, I'd pack my stuff and get out of here. I love Miami! I also love NYC but it's too expensive in my opinion, to live there unless you have serious $.

People, People, People!



As a person who is living from New York City. This person has no idea has much life is better in the 'Sunshine State'. First of all you might've forgotten about the weather? I'd rather be under the sun, at the beach, and not having to wear 2 coats. Time Square is CRAP. Real New Yorkers stay away from that place because it's only full of tourist. When i was in South Beach i was amazed of how beautiful it is over there. And sure New York City might be in the center of the world, but it's nothing amazing like it's potrayed on T.V.



If you moving here get ready to experience the fast life, the cold, the subway, the terrible air pollution, the noise, the rudeness. Make your own descision, but there is no way Miami is boring. And if you don't like Spanish. Then so be it.



So to sum it up New York is only fun and exciting when you have this $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
